My son broke our other towel bar. I looked FOREVER to find a replacement. All the hardware stores...department stores...etc. I finally found it on Amazon. The bar fits GREAT and these ends work PERFECTLY with the bar. I have an older bathroom with the bar holders tiled in (which apparently they don't do anymore). I was able to replace the bar myself (and I am not the handiest woman in the world.) I did have to cut the bar slightly with a saw...but it was MUCH easier then I thought (and I put it off because I was a bit nervous about it). These ends fit in perfectly and I once again had a towel bar!!

When our towel bar broke, I thought for sure I was going to need the plumber to break the tiles and install a new one from scratch. A quick search on the old internet with selective search words and I found these. What an ingenious idea. Combine these with a towel bar and a hacksaw, and I had a new towel bar installed to the amazement of my wife. I probably saved myself $200!
