Definitely worth it August 5, 2010

Cheap, nice looking, and functional. The bright light is, well, very bright, which is what I wanted. And if you're worried about it blinking in your pocket, the button is kind of hard to press down, but not so much as to be a bother when you actually want the light to shine.All in all, a good find, for a good price.

awesome little key chain light... i love it... only down side to this awesome flashlight is that you have to keep your finger holding down the button for it to shine... i wished it was just a click on click off type of deal

well, I just got it for "free" when I was getting the PATA drive external box (which I reviewed elsewhere) both for the princely sum of $6 or so, and found it exactly identical (save for the color and a screenprint) to the one I got truly free with an Xmas order of batteries 8 months ago, so I really have nothing but good things to say about it.
wicked bright, assuredly. pocket-sized, naturally. really helped with repairs to the questionable-quality external drive box, so it came in handy all immediate like, and did the job I needed it to in the repair. and you can never have enough split-rings on you keychain.
and if I didn't have two of them now, I might actually pay for one.
also, the older one had been getting a little flaky (there's enough battery to last a couple of years of ON I'm thinking) so now than I had two decided to open it up. armed with deft fingers, a lot of patience, a very nice Craftsman (yay Sears!) skinny Phillips, and a love of tiny electronics, made short work of repair, scratched up some contacts and battery faces and slid one teeny skinny spring-steel "jumper" from where it had (oddly) slighty migrated, and now I've got enough LED light to last me for maybe a decade I'm thinking. repairable!
great at finding rear USB ports on unfamiliar computers (and teams great with the USB drive next to it on the keys!) and for telling the difference between keys in the dark.
more than 5 stars out of 5. the best things in life are free sometimes!

I recieved this as a free gift with an LED laser pointer. It is surprisingly bright for it's size. It is convenient and small, fits well on a keychain.
