Happy lady
I bought 4 of these units. I had a skunk under my shed, racoons on my roof, rabbits, squirrels you name it I had it! After I put these around my house in broad daylight the skunk came out in 2 minutes from under my shed and never came back!
I hadn't seen any wildlife in 3 weeks since I used yard guard! I'm definitely a happy lady again. No more nasty pests causing damage to my property!
You must get these units if you have a problem.

The Ultrasonic Animal Repeller is ineffective. It does not keep squirrels away from my birdfeeders. A ripoff-do not buy

I went on Amazon,and found this Animal Repeller called Bird
X YG Yard Gard, Ultrasonic Animal Repeller.
I ordered it despite a few of the bad reviews that I have read. The Repeller
arrived at my home in 3 days, and I was ready to try to send 8 stray Cats
out of my Yard forever, because I was tired of raking smelly feces and
cleaning 3 Exterior Doors from Cats marking their Territory..
.
Following the directions that came with the Ultrasonic Animal Repeller
Bird-X YG, I set the Yard Gard on a big plastic box for the 1st and 2nd
day, but the Cats just laid around the yard and nothing happened.
On the 3rd day I placed the Yard Gard on a Cement block which was
just the right height for the cats ears, I so AMAZED! IT WORKED AND IT
SENT THE CATS AWAY AND IT'S STILL WORKING FOR ME AND I'VE HAD IT
FOR ABOUT 1 MONTH NOW, AMAZING!!
Now 1 or 2 of the cats come back, but when they hear the ringing,
they take off again. I have the Yard Gard set on Constant on and I have
it plugged into an electric outlet outdoors. This is a GREAT Item, and it
really works! I recommend this item for everyone that has a problem with
stray Cats, I think it's also working on the birds that land and eat the
fruit off my plum tree. Haven't any Birds lately neither. GOOD ITEM!!!!

Immediately after I ordered 5 of these items and before I received them from Amazon, I noticed the price dropped substantially. I phoned Amazon and asked for an adjustment. They refused. I am no longer a customer.
NOT AN ANIMAL DETERRENT August 20, 2010

This product advertises as a dog, cat and raccoon deterrent. It is definitely not, I have a problem with racoons attacking my trash cans at night. I have placed this within ten feet of the trash, the racoons still overturn the trash cans and littered the garbage all over the driveway. I tried it as a stray cat repellent as claimed, it did not work either, the stray cats sleep on my porch furniture at night, and I would love to get rid of them. And it definetly does not keep my neighbors dog from pooping all over my yard. Extremely disappointed, would love to receive information on a product that actually works.
