5 out of 5 stars Compact and sturdy   July 31, 2010
Nikola
After years of mixed results with filters from the two major manufacturers, I decided I had enough of plastic threads, bad manufacturing, and leaks. I purchased Culligan FM-15A and I have been perfectly happy with it for more than a month now. Not only that I find it of better quality than the major brands I tried, but it was also cheaper.

5 out of 5 stars pure water I hpoe   July 30, 2010
Kevin Manner (manchester, ct usa)
I had this product for about one month now and I hope it's filtering everything out. The water has no taste which should be good thing. I wanna cut filter open after it expires and see what it looks like. I only run water 1/3 the power to let water slowly run through filter and have time for filter to grasp contaminants. just a theory I have.

3 out of 5 stars Didn't fit our faucet   July 27, 2010
S. DELPRETE (USA)
I am very disappointed because Consumer Reports rated this faucet filter No. 1. We have a faucet that is fluted at the end (bell shape) and neither of the two adapters fit. I have no idea what make our faucet is, but it's not a Kohler. We even went to the hardware store and purchased another adapter, to no avail. I guess I'll have to buy a pitcher instead =(

5 out of 5 stars Great water filter   July 19, 2010

I previously owned a Pur water filter and noticed like other reviewers that it wasn't lasting long before it started to leak all over the place. I purchased the Culligan water filter hoping that it would work better. I have used the Culligan for several months and still no leaks. The tab you pull on to get filtered water was a bit of a change from the Pur but more than makes up for not getting hosed down by water. I love the Culligan!

4 out of 5 stars Warning to Kohler fixture owners!   July 17, 2010

I wish I knew from experience how wonderful and effective this filter is. Unfortunately, I own a Kohler kitchen faucet and calls to both the technical departments of Culligan and Kohler confirmed that there is no way to attach the filter to my faucet! Apparently, the aesthetic sensibilities of the good people at Kohler are grievously offended by the addition of any attachment to their carefully crafted product. They suggested I invest in an under-the-cabinet water filter instead (typically costing at least a couple hundred bucks without scientifically confirmed superiority.) Well, I had an Everpure system installed when I remodeled the kitchen and it worked well for 6 or 7 years, (not taking into account the expensive replacement cartridges which are a pain to install every 6-12 months, depending on usage.) Recently, I discovered a leak that could not be fixed which ruined my cabinets. I'm done with Everpure and after consulting Consumer Reports, thought I had found the perfect solution in this Culligan filter. My sister will end up using it instead.
